The StingRay Special HH features two custom Music Man humbucking pickups that provide the punchy, articulate sound the StingRay is known for. The bridge pickup has an aggressive, gnarly tone perfect for rock and punk styles, while the neck pickup delivers a warmer, rounder sound ideal for Motown-inspired lines or jazz walking bass. Active EQ Offers Total Tonal Control

An 18-volt preamp gives the StingRay Special HH more than enough headroom for any playing style. The three-band active EQwith bass, midrange and treble controlsprovides 15 dB of boost/cut at 100 Hz, 800 Hz and 5 kHz to shape your tone. Boost the mids for extra definition, cut the bass for a tighter slap sound or turn up the highs to cut through loud guitars. The active EQ, combined with the wide-ranging pickups, offers virtually unlimited tonal possibilities.
