Greg Deering designed the Goodtime banjos because there were no low priced banjos of enough quality for people to learn on without getting frustrated or giving up. This resonator banjo is ideal for a student interested in bluegrass-style playing.

This 2024 version has nickel plated hardware and bowtie inlays. (The replacement model has bronze-colored hardware & Art Deco style inlays)
