Gonzalez Local 627 reeds are an homage to the Union number given to the Kansas City musicians at the turn of the last century. One of the cradles of American music, Local 627 boasted many amazing artists including Charlie Parker. Local 627 reeds are produced with this tradition in mind, they are more flexible and vibrant than the Regular Cut, and have a larger area of scrape. This gives the reeds a more brilliant sound and quicker response, everything you need to perform at your best.
