Originally published in German as Einfhrung in Musik fr Kinder as a guide to the original schulwerk for students at the Orff Institute in Salzburg, this work may be used in conjunction with the English-language adaptions of Orff-Schulwerk by Hall/Walter and Murray, and has been translated into English by Susan Kennedy. References to specific exercises in these editions are noted by author, volume and page. It includes diagrams to hammer home his points.
