The Quarter Pound RWRP for Stratocaster uses the same hand polished diameter alnico 5 rod magnets and high output coil winding as the standard version. When combined with the neck or bridge pickups, the reverse wound reverse polarity middle delivers noiseless 2 & 4 positions. On its own, this pickup will give you the same pounding tone that you get from the standard wound model.Combine with an SSL-4 in the neck and bridge for a full set.These bobbins are hand built, dipped in lacquer then wound and wax potted for squeal free performance. We use modern oval Forbon flatwork (non-triangular) which enables this pickup to fit into any guitar that is routed for single coils.
